Late Fall 2013
Many club members enjoyed a very informative

HELPING THE COMMUNITY
Fundraising efforts helped out 3 local non-profit organizations and their projects. The Turtle Lake Elementary School has a garden project to help children learn about where vegetables come from and how they are grown. The Public Library has a fundraising project to build a new library. The First Responders are on call 24/7 to help all people in and around the Community whenever the need arises. President Judy AHLBERG, Vice President Ann Klugow and Treasurer Donna Cordes presented checks to these groups to honor their work in summer 2013.
MEETINGS

VILLAGE OF TURTLE LAKE IMPROVEMENTS
State Representative Stephen Smith brought a Wisconsin flag to Turtle Lake to fly at the Three Flags Corner on the intersection of Maple and Martin Street. The Garden Club maintains the flower garden on that major intersection in the community with support from World Foods the manufacturing business located there. This picture shows some of the group joining Rep Smith for lunch at the Hotel Bar & Grill on that rainy afternoon in September 2013.
